Summer office hours

Our head office will shut down for the holiday period from the close of business on Friday, December 22 and will reopen on Monday, January 8, 2024. 

We will continue to accept online Skills Assessment applications, but we will not be processing payments until we reopen.

Some of our staff will be working on applications through the summer break, however, we will not be able to respond to emails and phone calls during this time. 

Trade Occupations

Due to the Trades Recognition Australia summer shutdown, our last assessment outcomes for trade occupations for 2023 will be issued in the week ending 22 December and will resume from 8 January, 2024. 

Priority Processing

We will suspend lodgements for our Priority Processing Service on Sunday, 10 December and resume on Monday, 8 January as soon as we return from the summer break.  

This means the last day for Priority Processing applications to be lodged in 2023 will be 10 December.  

This will ensure that all Priority Processing applications lodged in December and approved as eligible for the service can be completed in 10 business days before the holiday break. 

Skills Assessment Support service

The Skills Assessment Support service will finish consultations for 2023 on Tuesday, 19 December and will resume on Wednesday, 10 January, 2024
